Peppered Bacon And Blue Cheese Burgers

1 pound Ground chuck, formed into 4 patties
8 slices Peppered (or regular) bacon, cooked and drained
4 ounces Blue cheese
4 Kaiser buns
Lettuce and tomato

       Cook the bacon, drain on paper towels and set aside. Cook the burgers to the desired temperature. Heat the broiler. Place the burgers on a sheet pan. Top each with 2 strips of cooked bacon and 1/4 of the blue cheese (crumbled over the bacon). Place under the broiler until the cheese begins to melt. Lightly toast the buns. Place the burgers on the buns and garnish with lettuce and tomato slices.
