Terminator 3: Rise
of the Machines
Rating: (R)
Time: (
1 Hr 49Min )
CMAD
Rating: 2 Moons out of 4 Moons
Terminator 3 takes place about a ten
years after Judgment Day. John Conner
(Nick Stahl) is living life off the
grid ( meaning he is essentially
homeless) which he hopes will keep his
destiny from happening and stop
any would be visitors from the future.
Being that John Conner is living
this type of existence, the robots from
the future have decided to take out all
of his top lieutenants, which brings us
the Terminatrix (Kristanna
Loken) an upgrade from the
terminator sent in Judgment Day. She can
modify machines to run by remote
control, and essentially overwrite their
programming. But her mission of
course is to kill John Conner and his
lieutenants, and to make sure Skynet
(The system by which the machines
take over) gets up and running.
Arnold
Schwarzenegger
of course reprises
his role as The Terminator whose mission
is to protect John Conner and his soon
to be top lieutenant Kate Brewster
(Claire Danes).
T3 fits in with the other terminator
movies just fine, it extends the
story, it leaves room for at least two
more sequels if so desired. My problem
with the movie is it was too
much like the first two movies, there
was nothing really new in the movie
with the exception of the Terminatrix.
Everything else was just older versions
of what came before.
